Vipol® Matrix mesh is constructed from an open weave 10 oz vinyl-coated polyester that cleats cannot penetrate but rain, sports drinks, etc., drain right through — Vipol® will not absorbed liquids. Air and sunlight get through so it will not “smother” or compact grass like other covers or opaque sideline tarps.
