Shipping Expectations — Turf-only Orders

CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING SHIPPING INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR TURF ORDER.

Beacon Athletics recommends signing for all freight shipments as possible concealed damage.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to unload materials from the freight truck. Delivery drivers are not required to assist. A call ahead will be included with your order to let you know when the delivery will occur so that you can be prepared to receive it.
  • Beacon Athletics highly recommends that customers rent a Forklift with a Carpet Pole attachment to help with unloading turf from the freight truck. Without one, you will need to drag the rolls off the truck and either push or roll them to where you need them. The forklift can also be used to remove any other boxes or pallets from the freight truck.
  • Customers are responsible for any additional costs not included on their sales order. This may include the cost of any accessorial that is added after the initial order, redelivery costs if materials are unable to be unloaded from the truck at the scheduled delivery time, and any storage fees associated with the inability to unload the truck.
