▸ Will I be charged sales tax?
MAYBE. Changes to tax laws now require us to collect sales tax for the following states: AR, CO, CT, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, NE, NV, NJ, NY, NC, ND, OH, OK, RI, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WA, WV, WI, WY. ▸ What if my organization is tax exempt?
NO PROBLEM. First, reference the states listed above that are subject to sales tax. REMEMBER: you only need to provide tax exempt documentation if you are in one of the states listed. If you are a tax exempt organization operating in one of the listed states, please create a Beacon Athletics online account and provide your tax exempt information (Tax ID # and tax exemption form). If you operate in a state subject to sales tax, you MUST be a logged in to your tax exempt web account to avoid being charged sales tax.
▸ Can I use a P.O. when ordering online?
ABSOLUTELY! We accept purchase orders from schools and parks & rec departments. During checkout just select “Purchase Order” as your payment method, enter your P.O. number and upload your P.O. document (optional) in any of these accepted file formats: doc, docx, xls, xlsx, pdf, jpg/jpeg, png, svg, eps, or zip.
▸ What payment methods do you accept?
Credit card, Purchase Order, and PayPal payments are accepted online. For credit card purchases we accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. If you prefer to pay with your PayPal account just choose that payment method during checkout and when you click “Submit Order” you will be taken to PayPal to login and complete your order.
▸ What’s the easiest way to get a printable quote for multiple items?
It’s easy — just fill up a cart. When you have all your items added to your cart at the quantities you need, go to the cart icon at the top of the page and click “Order Details & Shipping Estimate”. Click the gray Print Quote button in the lower left area of the product listing. All of the items in your cart will be presented as a quote (with estimated shipping) from Beacon Athletics.

▸ Do I need a Beacon account to buy online?
NO. You do not need an online account to buy from beaconathletics.com. You are welcome to checkout as a guest without registering for a Beacon account. However, once you have filled in the basic info needed for any online purchase, you have done about 95% of the work toward creating an account — you really only need to add a password to the info you have already supplied during checkout. That’s it.
