The geometry of the ballfield naturally draws the eye in. With each park having unique dimensions and it’s own flavor from the local scenery, there’s some variation visually from park to park. But all parks are framed with the straight, crisp, and vibrant white of the foul lines.

When creating your foul lines, it begins with setting the pins. This, of course, if for setting your string line. But where exactly should your stringline be placed? Answers to questions like this can be found at our Groundskeeper University module “Creating Foul Lines”. GU is a great place to get started and make sure everyone is on the same page so it gets done right.
