The Jack Corbett MLB Hollywood Base in the 18 inch size is the official base used at the Major League level, where the larger 18 inch size was introduced in 2023. It is also used by professional fastpitch softball clubs.

The base features an extended tapered lip that reduces the edge turn up found on lower quality bases. Its shell is built with added tensile strength to resist most cuts and tears, and it includes ultraviolet inhibitors along with construction engineered to hold up in harsh weather. Each base ships with 6 inch stanchions and suits adult, college, and high school play for both baseball and softball.
At the high school level, the 18 inch base is permitted for use in place of a double first base.
