Our Checkmate Striping System that I bought for our mower has been awesome. How do I know the extension arms will match the width of my mower frame?
Each CheckMate system is shipped with two extension arms that slide up and
down a rail (channel) attached to the CheckMate roller. This channel allows for
infinite possibilities in terms of the varying frame widths that the system may be
installed to.
If the CheckMate is smaller than my mower deck, will I
see a difference in the striping pattern?
No. The intent of the CheckMate roller is to enhance the natural grain placed on the grass
from the mower. Certainly, some mowers are capable of placing more grain or stripe in the grass than
others, but the roller should be considered a 'tool' to enhance the overall look.
How do I determine which size unit to purchase?
For commercial mowers, it is suggested that you select a unit that closely aligns with
the outside width of the rear drive tires. For residential mowers, the CheckMate should be 4"-6" smaller than
your mower deck. This will allow you to mow along permanent landscape architecture without
rubbing or snagging the unit.
