Print it, it’s easy.
Whether you need to show some info to your groundskeeper, run it past accounting, or just need something to put in your field maintenance file, just print it. One of the quickest & easiest ways to remember something you’ve seen on the web is to print it. If you see something in the Beacon Store and you need a print of the information to pass along to someone else, bring to a meeting, or just file away for future use, just hit “print this page”. I’ll show you just how easy and effective it is to print in the Beacon Store.
I know from my own experience that printing from the web doesn’t always work out. Some web pages just weren’t designed to be printed. The results are often a 10-page mess full of navigation, color advertisements, a bunch of page tags and code, and who knows what other jibberish all over the page that you didn’t need. What you’re expecting is just the information you’re looking at on your screen. Now on the Beacon Store, when you print what you see, that’s what you get.
Just click “Print this page” on the product pages:
It will bring up your browser’s regular print dialog box. Shown below is Internet Explorer’s print dialog, but printing from the Beacon Store will work in many browsers, Windows or Macintosh.
Most browser’s are also able to save a PDF of the page from the print dialog box, which can be handy a handy option as well if you need a digital copy, but won’t always be able to connect to the internet. This PDF can give you the best of both worlds. (Check “print to file” in Internet Explorer’s print dialog box, for example.)
Here is an example of what you will get, a very close representation of what you’re looking in the Beacon Web Store:
